Osan to Seongnam Yatap Intercity Bus No. 8301 to Increase to 8 Daily Runs Starting July 21

Plans Underway to Launch New 8303 Route
from Segyo 1 to Yatap

On July 18, Osan City in Gyeonggi Province announced that it will increase the number of daily runs of the intercity bus No. 8301, which operates between Osan and Yatap in Seongnam, from four to eight starting July 21.

This route is mainly used by citizens commuting to work and school between Osan and Seongnam. There have been complaints about inconvenience due to long intervals between buses during rush hours and school commuting times.

The city explained that this increase in service was made possible following a meeting between Osan Mayor Lee Gwonjae and Seongnam Mayor Shin Sangjin at Seongnam City Hall in early June.

Separately, Osan City plans to introduce a new intercity bus route, No. 8303, by October. This new route will start from Segyo 2 District, pass through Segyo 1 District, and connect to Yatap in Seongnam.

Mayor Lee stated, "We will continue to closely monitor citizens' needs and improve public transportation conditions to ensure there is no inconvenience."
