The county will subsidize 60% of the installation costs (up to 1.8 million won) when existing slow chargers installed in underground parking lots are relocated to above-ground locations. The project aims to improve the electric vehicle charging environment and ensure the safety of chargers, thereby enhancing convenience for residents. Apartment complexes that applied during the demand survey conducted in August and September last year will be given priority support.

The final list of recipients will be determined after a review of submitted documents and on-site inspections. Applications will be accepted starting on the 21st. For more information, residents can check the announcement on the county website or contact the Resource Circulation and Eco-friendly Carbon Neutrality Team.

Im Dongwan, head of the Resource Circulation Division, stated, "Through this project, we aim to reduce fire risks associated with electric vehicle charging facilities and create a safer and more convenient residential environment." He added, "We will continue our efforts to prevent disasters and enhance the convenience of our residents."
