Unique Inflight Content Receives Enthusiastic Response from Passengers
Aero K Airlines, a low-cost carrier based at Cheongju International Airport and led by CEO Kang Byungho, announced on July 18 that it received an enthusiastic response from passengers after hosting a premium liquor tasting event on its international flights on July 12.
This tasting event was the second of its kind, following the “Hinomaru Signature 1823” whisky tasting held in April this year, and offered a unique opportunity to sample the premium Chinese baijiu “Yantai Guniang Platinum Edition” onboard.
After the tasting, passengers were able to purchase the featured product at a discounted price, providing a practical shopping experience in addition to the tasting itself.
Aero K Airlines is showcasing a variety of inflight duty-free products through a joint promotion with Lotte Duty Free.
In particular, the airline is offering premium liquors such as Ballantine’s 30 Year Old and Royal Salute 32 Year Old at reasonable prices compared to the market rate, thereby increasing customer satisfaction.
Starting with the Incheon route in October 2024, and expanding to the Cheongju route from November, Aero K has been operating an official inflight sales service based on its inflight duty-free partnership with Lotte Duty Free.
Exclusive limited-edition products available only on Aero K are also attracting attention. “Hinomaru Signature 1823,” produced in limited quantities in Japan, and “Hinomaru Sakura La,” which features a cherry blossom aroma, are popular items available exclusively for inflight purchase.
An Aero K Airlines representative stated, “We are planning a variety of inflight content so that customers can enjoy new experiences even during their flight,” and added, “We will continue to expand Aero K’s unique, differentiated services and reasonable shopping benefits.”
Meanwhile, Aero K Airlines operates various international routes to Japan, China, Taiwan, and Vietnam from its base at Cheongju International Airport, and continues to enhance its inflight content and shopping experience to further improve customer satisfaction.
