Promoting Comprehensive Cooperation in Technical Support, Workforce Capability Enhancement, and Safety Inspections
Busan Urban Corporation (BMC, President Shin Changho) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Busan Society of Technology (President Han Sangjung) to promote the advancement of construction technology and enhance technical capabilities.
This agreement was established to build a cooperative system aimed at strengthening the expertise and practical capabilities of local construction technology professionals throughout all aspects of Busan's urban development projects. The signing ceremony was attended by Shin Changho, President of Busan Urban Corporation, and Han Sangjung, President of the Busan Society of Technology, who jointly signed the agreement and pledged mutual cooperation.
Through this MOU, the two organizations will engage in practical cooperation across various fields, including: providing technical support and consultation for major construction industries of the corporation; supporting training programs to strengthen employee capabilities; conducting safety inspections and consulting for construction sites and facilities; and promoting technical exchanges for the development of construction technology.
The Busan Society of Technology is a professional organization with approximately 2,800 local experts registered across 81 fields, including civil engineering, architecture, mechanical equipment, and construction safety. It plays a key role in providing major technical consultations for the public and industrial sectors in the Busan area.
Shin Changho, President of Busan Urban Corporation, stated, "Cooperation with local construction technology experts is essential for the sustainable development of Busan," adding, "With this agreement as a starting point, we will further enhance our technical capabilities and do our utmost to create an urban environment where citizens can feel safe."
