Supporting Private Investment Linkage for R&D SMEs in the Yeongnam Region
The Korea Technology and Information Promotion Agency for SMEs announced that it held the '4th Small and Medium Business R&D Dedicated Bank Investment Presentation in 2025' at Kensington Hotel Yeouido in Seoul over two days, July 17 and 18.
This presentation event was organized in cooperation with IBK (Industrial Bank of Korea) and Hana Bank to support technology development (R&D) SMEs located in the Yeongnam region?including North Gyeongsang, South Gyeongsang, Daegu, Ulsan, and Busan?by connecting them with private investment institutions and enhancing their commercialization potential.

A total of 100 companies applied to participate in this investment presentation through an open call, and after a preliminary review based on criteria such as technological capabilities and marketability, 14 companies were ultimately selected to present. The selected companies assessed their investment potential through face-to-face IR (Investor Relations) meetings with investment managers from IBK and Hana Bank.
Notably, this presentation featured companies recognized for their technological prowess in various fields, including machinery manufacturing, bio-health, and digital services. The investment managers also showed high interest in the participating companies.
Kim Youngshin, President of Kijeongwon, stated, "Kijeongwon is expanding region-specific investment linkage support so that the innovative technologies held by SMEs in the Yeongnam region can lead to tangible commercialization outcomes," and added, "We will continue to strengthen a one-stop support system in cooperation with IBK and Hana Bank, covering the process from technology development to commercialization and investment."
