The excellence awards went to the “Support Project for Safety Inspections of Vehicles for People with Disabilities” and the “Woldcupcheon Barley Field Creation Project.” The vehicle safety inspection support project is a customized initiative to improve mobility convenience for people with disabilities. The Woldcupcheon Barley Field Creation Project aims to create a natural environment that evokes nostalgia for one’s hometown.
The encouragement awards were given to four projects: the Mapo Circular Train Bus Operation Project, the Hyodobapsang Side Dish Factory Establishment Project, the Road Occupancy Fee and Compensation Revenue Structure Survey and Improvement Project, and the Mapo Space Establishment and Operation Project.
The district will provide up to three days of reward leave and personnel incentives to the public officials responsible for the selected outstanding cases. Employees with significant contributions will be able to choose one among a commendation with the highest performance bonus grade, transfer to their desired department, or priority access to weekend resorts.
Outstanding cases were submitted through department and resident recommendations until the 18th of last month, and were selected through a first-round practical review, a second-round staff vote, and a final review by the Proactive Administration Committee. The evaluation criteria included the degree of impact on residents, the proactivity, expertise, and creativity of the person in charge, project difficulty, and potential for expansion.
Park Gangsu, Mayor of Mapo-gu, stated, “Proactive administration is the power that brings real change to residents’ lives and the starting point of trusted governance,” and added, “We will continue to implement proactive policies that residents can truly feel, based on creativity and expertise.”
