Chaea Park (People Power Party, Gyeongsan 3), Chairperson of the Education Committee, pointed out the weaknesses in the school’s test paper management system, stating, “When a test paper leak occurs, public trust in education inevitably declines. Strict management and supervision are necessary to prevent similar incidents from recurring.” She also called on the executive branch to ensure severe punishment for those responsible and to establish measures to prevent recurrence.

Yongjin Cho (People Power Party, Gimcheon 3), Vice Chairperson, addressed the executive branch during the following meeting with parents, urging them to focus on helping students heal emotionally from the shock caused by this incident, as requested by the parents.

Daeil Kim (People Power Party, Andong 3) emphasized, “What matters more than the results of the investigation is restoring the broken trust in public education. The Gyeongbuk Office of Education must take this situation seriously and proactively announce its position to restore trust, which will help alleviate the anxiety of students and parents.”

Chairperson Chaea Park (Gyeongsan 3) reiterated the need to use this incident as an opportunity to conduct a comprehensive inspection of student assessment and test paper security management at all general high schools, and to establish a thorough management system and institutional improvements based on the findings.
