Hope Bridge Launches Fundraising to Help Flood Victims

Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association (Chairman Song Pilho) announced on July 17 that it has begun fundraising to assist disaster victims affected by the ongoing extreme heavy rainfall.

Hope Bridge stated, "We are the only legally recognized relief organization in Korea authorized to deliver domestic natural disaster relief funds," adding, "The donations collected this time will be used for recovery in affected areas and to help disaster victims return to their daily lives, in accordance with our distribution principle that ensures equal support and prevents overlap, omission, or concentration of aid by region or disaster type."

As of 15:00 on July 17, Hope Bridge had provided a total of 9,802 emergency relief items to areas affected by the torrential rains, including 492 disaster relief kits, 175 shelter partitions, 175 floor mats, and 8,960 bottles of drinking water. Hope Bridge is also monitoring the on-site situation and is considering additional support upon request from local governments and related organizations.

Donations to help neighbors affected by flooding can be made through the Hope Bridge website, as well as via online fundraising platforms such as Naver Happybean and Kakao Together Value. More detailed information is available on the Hope Bridge website.
