Enhancing Practical Safety Competence
The Yeongyang County Branch of the North Gyeongsang Province Association for the Physically Disabled (Branch President Bae Yeongeuk) successfully concluded the "Confident Me! Happy Me! Exciting Life! Socialization Education Program" on July 8, aimed at enhancing the self-esteem and social capabilities of women with disabilities.

A total of 50 women with disabilities participated in this program. In cooperation with the Yeongyang Police Station, the program also included practical safety education sessions closely related to daily life, such as voice phishing prevention, sexual crime and elder abuse prevention, and traffic safety education, which received a very positive response from the participants.
One participant shared her satisfaction, saying, "Crimes like voice phishing used to be just frightening, but through this program, I learned specific ways to respond, which was very helpful."
The Yeongyang County Branch of the North Gyeongsang Province Association for the Physically Disabled stated, "Women with disabilities are often in a more vulnerable position in society, so customized education for them is extremely important," and added, "We will continue to expand various support programs through cooperation with related organizations in the future."
