Sign MOU to Enhance Financial Services for Foreign Customers
KB Kookmin Bank announced on the 17th that it has signed a business agreement with Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance to strengthen financial services for foreign customers.

The business agreement ceremony, held on the 15th at the new building of KB Kookmin Bank in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, was attended by Choi Jaebong, Vice President of Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance's General Insurance Division, and Song Yonghun, Vice President of KB Kookmin Bank's Corporate Customer Group, among others.
With this agreement, the two companies plan to provide a service that allows foreign workers to easily view and use Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance's Departure Guarantee Insurance, Return Cost Insurance, and Accident Insurance?which are mandatory for foreign workers?through the KB Star Banking app.
Starting at the end of this month, foreign worker-exclusive insurance contract details will be available for review on KB Star Banking as well. In the third quarter, an insurance claim feature is scheduled to be added. The aim is to enable foreign customers to conveniently handle everything from checking their insurance contracts to filing insurance claims non-face-to-face within KB Star Banking.
A KB Kookmin Bank representative stated, "This agreement is intended to enhance financial accessibility and convenience for foreign customers," and added, "Going forward, the two companies will continue to expand financial services for foreign customers through ongoing collaboration."
