On July 17, Yuseonsu Entertainment announced that singer Kim Yongbin, who won first place in "Mr. Trot 3" last year, will release his winner's special song "It Was You Yesterday and It Is You Today."
"It Was You Yesterday and It Is You Today" will be released at 6 p.m. on various music streaming sites on this day. Rather than focusing on flashy techniques, this pop ballad-based trot song emphasizes sincere emotions and messages. The agency explained, "We balanced popularity, lyricism, and genre experimentation."
This new song was jointly produced by Youngtak and Ji Gwangmin, who have expanded the trot genre with songs such as "Form Michyeotda" and "Why Are You Coming Out From There." The music video was produced by Zanybros.
Kim Yongbin is currently meeting with fans through a nationwide tour concert.
