The Grand Prize was awarded for two projects: process improvement for the functional materials 'SKYPEL' and 'SKYBON,' and a project to enhance the properties of the eco-friendly material 'ECOZEN Pro.' Both projects were recognized for achieving cost reduction and product performance improvement simultaneously, demonstrating both marketability and technological excellence. The Encouragement Award went to a research team that successfully developed shrink film based on accumulated technology.
SK Chemicals plans to continue fostering an organizational culture that identifies and develops autonomous and creative research projects into core technologies. President Ahn Jae-hyun stated, "Challenges led by our members are enhancing the company's competitiveness," and added, "We will continue to provide strong support to ensure such achievements persist."
