Revitalizing the System and Expanding Affiliated Stores
Gochang County in North Jeolla Province is holding a 'Cyber Gochang County Residents' summer event until August 31.
According to the county on July 17, this event was launched to promote the 'Cyber Gochang County Residents' system and to expand the number of affiliated stores.
To participate, Cyber Gochang County Residents can either post reviews of their experiences at affiliated stores on the Cyber Gochang County Residents website, or local businesses can newly register as affiliated stores during the event period.
For the affiliated store review event, participants must attach a receipt from the affiliated store (showing the store name and date), promote it on their personal social networking service (SNS), and leave a post on the event board on the website. The first 200 participants will receive a mobile gift certificate. Affiliated stores that receive three or more reviews on the event board and businesses that newly register as affiliated stores will receive trash bags worth 30,000 won.
To register as an affiliated store, applicants can download the application form from the website, fill it out, and submit it along with a business registration certificate and a consent form for the collection and use of personal information via email. After a simple on-site inspection, approval can be granted.
'Cyber Gochang County Resident' refers to a system in which individuals gain the rights of a cyber resident by simply signing up on the Cyber Gochang County Residents website, enabling various information exchanges and participation in county activities. Those who become Cyber Gochang County Residents are eligible for discounts on service fees at affiliated stores and can also receive county news updates.
In particular, the number of affiliated stores has expanded to a total of 23, including popular experiential facilities such as Sangha Farm Food Experience Class, Mandol, Hajun, and Jangho Fishing Village Experience Villages, as well as new partnerships with restaurants and cafes. This expansion is receiving a positive response from both Cyber Gochang County Residents and tourists visiting the county due to the variety of benefits offered.
Yu Changhyeong, head of the Administrative Support Division, said, "We expect that these diverse and innovative benefits will increase interest in and visits to the county, thereby expanding the county's related population," adding, "We hope for the interest and participation of many people in this event."
