Promoting the Establishment of a Legal AI Compliance System
BHSN announced on July 17 that it has secured a strategic investment (SI) from Samsung Venture Investment to collaborate with Samsung Life Insurance.
This investment was made to help financial affiliates such as Samsung Life Insurance control risk and establish a self-sustaining compliance system, leveraging BHSN’s expertise in legal data processing and artificial intelligence (AI) technology.

To this end, BHSN signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) in May, and the two companies will sequentially pursue a three-stage collaboration roadmap: joint development of finance-specialized AI based on legal data, implementation of internal control services, and expansion of a mid- to long-term partnership covering technology, services, and business operations.
BHSN plans to use this collaboration to demonstrate the practical necessity and effectiveness of legal AI in the financial industry and to promote the adoption of legal AI across the financial sector and into various other industries.
Lim Jungkeun, CEO of BHSN, said, "Under our company policy that 'legal is business,' we will continue to focus on advancing legal AI and work to ensure that our legal AI technology is utilized not only in the financial sector but also across a wide range of B2B industries."
