Ulsan City Holds Welcoming Ceremony for Capro Headquarters Relocation to Ulsan

Declaration of "Into the Future with Ulsan! Joint Vision for Sustainable Industrial Transformation" on the 17th
Mayor Kim Dookyum: "Capro Headquarters Relocation... Will Enrich the Regional Industrial Ecosystem"

On July 17 at 3:00 p.m., Ulsan City will hold a welcoming ceremony for Capro's headquarters relocation to Ulsan at the reception room on the 7th floor of the main building of Ulsan City Hall. The event will be attended by Ulsan Mayor Kim Dookyum, Taehwa Group Chairman Choi Wonho, and Capro CEO and President Park Sungmyung, among others.

This welcoming ceremony commemorates Capro's official relocation of its headquarters to Ulsan in May. It also serves as a declaration of the joint commitment by Ulsan City and the company to collaborate in fostering eco-friendly future industries and establishing a sustainable industrial ecosystem.

Alongside the headquarters relocation, Capro completed the construction of the nation's largest hydrogen shipment center in the Onsan National Industrial Complex in Nam-gu, Ulsan, in the same month. The company is accelerating its transformation from a traditional petrochemical-based structure to a hydrogen-based energy company.

During the event, representatives from both sides will sign the "Into the Future with Ulsan! Joint Vision Declaration for Sustainable Industrial Transformation."

The declaration includes: ▲strategic cooperation in digital transformation and future energy sectors, ▲job creation and talent development in the region, ▲implementation of ESG-based responsible management, and ▲the establishment of public-private cooperation models. It embodies the promise of Ulsan City and Capro to move forward together toward a sustainable future.

Ulsan City expects that this welcoming ceremony will not only celebrate Capro's headquarters relocation, but also serve as a significant turning point where the city and companies jointly declare their commitment to the future and take a leap forward as an eco-friendly energy city.

Mayor Kim Dookyum stated, "I am confident that Capro, with its world-class technology and expertise, will create synergy with Ulsan's robust industrial infrastructure and open a new horizon for the chemical industry. We will continue to provide various administrative and financial support to companies wishing to relocate or establish their headquarters here."

Capro CEO Park Sungmyung responded, "I would like to express my gratitude for the active support and warm welcome from Ulsan City. We will do our utmost to contribute to the development of the regional economy together with Ulsan."
