Maniker F&G Launches Four Convenient Health-Boosting Meals for Summer

On July 17, Maniker F&G announced that it is launching four types of convenient health-boosting ready meals (HMR) made with premium ingredients at reasonable prices to target consumers during the summer, in time for Chobok (July 20).


The newly introduced products include: Neungi Abalone Samgyetang, Herbal Angelica Baeksuk, Five-Grain Neungi Baeksuk, and Chicken Drumstick Nurungji Baeksuk. These four products are designed as easy-to-prepare health foods that can stimulate the appetite and provide nutrition for those weary from the summer heat, with a focus on both cooking convenience and a variety of flavors.


Maniker F&G aimed to offer consumers, who are feeling the burden of dining out, a premium-level Samgyetang at an affordable price.


Additionally, by utilizing a variety of ingredients such as neungi mushrooms, abalone, and herbal medicinal ingredients, the company has diversified its menu and further strengthened its product lineup.


The Neungi Abalone Samgyetang features a whole domestically raised chicken stuffed with abalone from Wando and fresh ginseng, both of which are representative summer health-boosting ingredients, resulting in a rich flavor and high nutritional value. The Herbal Angelica Baeksuk is made by simmering domestic chicken in a broth infused with ten ingredients, including angelica root, deer antler, astragalus, cnidium, and acanthopanax, creating a deep and robust flavor ideal for restoring energy during the summer.


The Five-Grain Neungi Baeksuk is completed by filling the chicken with five carefully selected grains, such as adlay and mung beans, and simmering it in a savory broth made with neungi mushrooms, domestic ginseng, and jujube, enhancing its nutritional value. The Chicken Drumstick Nurungji Baeksuk features large domestic chicken drumsticks and prepared chicken breast, combined with savory glutinous rice nurungji, for a hearty and flavorful meal.


A Maniker F&G representative stated, "As the heat and the burden of dining out increase, more consumers are seeking convenient health foods at home. These four new products, with their practical and diverse compositions, will further strengthen Maniker F&G's competitiveness in the convenient health food market."


The four new products are available both online and offline, including on Naver Smart Store, Coupang, open markets, and Lotte Mart. Maniker F&G also announced its plans to continue introducing convenient meals that add value to consumers' daily lives.
