Citibank Korea Signs Customer Transition Partnership Agreement with iM Bank

Exclusive Bankbooks for Citibank Korea Customers at iM Bank Branches Starting on the 21st
Preferential Interest Rates and Fee Waivers Offered

Citibank Korea announced on the 16th that it has signed a business partnership agreement with iM Bank to enhance convenience for Citibank Korea customers. The signing ceremony was attended by Ji Kang Kim, Head of Consumer Finance Group at Citibank Korea, Jung Hoon Kang, Head of Management Planning Group at iM Bank, and other representatives from both sides.

Under this partnership agreement, starting from the 21st, Citibank Korea customers will be able to receive various benefits?such as the issuance of exclusive bankbooks, preferential interest rates, and fee waivers?by obtaining a "Citibank Korea Customer Certificate" from Citibank Korea branches, the website, or the mobile application (app), and presenting it at iM Bank branches. In addition, dedicated service counters for Citibank Korea customers will be operated at major iM Bank branches.

A Citibank Korea representative stated, "Citibank Korea has entered into this consumer finance business partnership with iM Bank following a similar agreement with KB Kookmin Bank in 2023, in order to support customers who voluntarily choose to transfer their banking relationship. Going forward, Citibank Korea will continue to ensure thorough internal controls and employee training to protect bank users."

An iM Bank representative commented, "This agreement is meaningful as a win-win partnership between iM Bank and Citibank Korea, based on the shared value of 'financial consumer protection,' to ensure continuity of financial services for customers." The representative added, "Since becoming a commercial bank, iM Bank has been connecting with customers nationwide beyond its local base. Through this agreement, we will maintain convenience for Citibank Korea customers while providing iM Bank's own innovative financial services."
