Participation of Youth-Friendly Small but Strong Companies
Customized Consulting and Interview Opportunities for Job Seekers
The Yangsan Branch of the Ministry of Employment and Labor (headed by Kwon Guhyung) held a "Job Demand Day" recruitment event at the Miryang Hope Dream Employment Support Center on July 16.
This event was co-hosted by the Gimhae Employment Center and the Miryang Employment Center, in collaboration with Miryang City, Youngsan University, and the Ulsan branch of the Korea Employment Agency for Persons with Disabilities.
Samheung Heat Treatment, a metal heat treatment company located in the Miryang Saposan Industrial Complex, participated in the recruitment. Samheung Heat Treatment was selected as a "youth-friendly small but strong company" and an excellent local company in Miryang by the Yangsan Branch in April.
The Yangsan Branch has selected a total of 21 excellent companies in the region?10 in Gimhae, 8 in Yangsan, and 3 in Miryang?and is providing customized corporate services such as recruitment support through the "Local Excellent Companies Dedicated Management System."
This event included a company presentation, a special lecture on interview coaching, and one-on-one job seeker consulting, which increased the satisfaction of interviewees. Job seekers from not only Miryang but also neighboring areas such as Gimhae and Yangsan, as well as job seekers with disabilities, participated, expanding practical employment opportunities.
Kwon Guhyung, head of the branch, stated, "We are responding quickly to the recruitment needs of companies through ongoing and close management of excellent local companies," and added, "The employment center will continue to lead effective recruitment events in cooperation with local governments, universities, and related organizations."
