With this service upgrade, starting from the 15th, users can now view electronic documents from the National Health Insurance Service not only through the existing Naver app but also on PC and mobile web via Naver Electronic Document. By accessing 'Naver Electronic Document Home' from various devices such as smartphones, laptops, desktops, and tablet PCs, selecting the document to view, and completing authentication through the notification received on the Naver app, users can access their documents.

Naver is the first among certified electronic document intermediaries in Korea to expand its service to allow public institution electronic documents to be accessed on both PC and mobile web. Naver has applied responsive web technology to provide 350 types of National Health Insurance Service forms optimized for PC environments, and has introduced a feature that allows the content of electronic documents from the National Health Insurance Service to be listened to using TTS (Text-to-Speech) technology.

Naver plans to further expand the service so that documents from other institutions can also be viewed in a PC-optimized format in the future.

Certified by the Ministry of Science and ICT as a certified electronic document intermediary, Naver has been sending electronic documents for public institutions such as the National Health Insurance Service, National Pension Service, National Tax Service, and Ministry of National Defense since 2019. Naver provides notifications for unread documents on the main page of the Naver app and allows users to check documents even when not logged in. Through integration with Naver Pay, users can also pay bills at once.

Hwang Boyoung, the leader in charge of the electronic document service at Naver, said, "We will provide documents from various institutions through the Naver electronic document service to further popularize electronic documents, and offer users a differentiated experience by linking with Naver services." He added, "We will continue to enhance service accessibility so that anyone can easily and conveniently use electronic documents in various environments, while also ensuring security and stability to establish ourselves as a trusted electronic document platform."
