Over 300 Types of Electronic Documents
Now Accessible Beyond the Mobile App
The National Health Insurance Service announced on July 16 that, for the first time among public institutions, it has enabled users to view electronic documents from its mobile application (app) on both computers (PC) and mobile web browsers.
The mobile app's electronic documents include 300 types, such as health checkup forms and notices, regional bills, long-term care certificates, and annual benefit day notifications.
The Service explained that, in line with the government's digital transformation policy and to enhance public convenience, it has added features allowing users to access, print, save, and enlarge text of electronic document notifications?which were previously available only through the mobile app?on a variety of devices, including desktops and laptops.
To view the Service's electronic documents on a computer or mobile web browser, users need to access the 'Electronic Document Home' via the Naver homepage, then complete the steps of 'Log in → Select notification document → Notification authentication in the Naver app.'
The Service first began sending mobile electronic documents in March 2021, and now sends the largest number of electronic notification forms among public institutions?about 300 types, with more than 60 million sent annually?thereby reducing mailing costs and contributing to carbon neutrality.
Won Inmyung, Executive Director of Collections at the National Health Insurance Service, stated, "We will continue to expand the mobile electronic document service to various platforms in the future, ensuring user choice and continuously improving user-centered services."
