Eight Fulfillment Centers Including Gwangju Gyeonggi and Gonjiam Participate
'One-Stop On-Site Interview' Process Implemented
Coupang Fulfillment Service (CFS) announced on the 16th that it held a large-scale job fair in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province, following a similar event in Incheon this past May.
On the 15th, CFS hosted the "Coupang Fulfillment Service Central Gyeonggi Large-Scale Job Fair" at the Gyeonggi Startup Campus in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province, in collaboration with local organizations including the Seongnam Job Center, Icheon Job Center, Gwangju Gyeonggi Job Center, Gyeonggi Middle-Aged Tomorrow Center, Southern Gyeonggi Veterans Affairs Division Center for Discharged Soldiers, Southern-Northern Hana Foundation, and Southern Gyeonggi Hana Center.

Eight fulfillment centers located in the central Gyeonggi region?including Gwangju Gyeonggi 5, Gonjiam 1, Dongtan 1, Yangji 4, Yongin 3/5, and Icheon 1/2?jointly participated in the job fair, recruiting for a wide range of positions such as inbound and outbound logistics, forklift operation, and on-site logistics management. The Yangji 4 Center, which opened in June, plans to hire a significant number of new employees.
For the convenience of job seekers who registered in advance, the job fair offered a one-stop process from employment counseling to on-site interviews. For walk-in visitors who had not registered in advance, a separate counter was set up to allow them to submit their resumes and participate in interviews on the spot. Approximately 500 job seekers submitted applications to CFS.
Kyoungho Lee, Director of the Icheon Job Center, stated, "This job fair is a good example of Coupang's job creation capabilities and its commitment to regional cooperation," adding, "It will serve as an opportunity for many job seekers to find stable employment at Coupang."
Jongcheol Jeong, CEO of CFS, said, "Coupang is continuously introducing automation technology to its fulfillment centers to create a safer and more efficient working environment for employees," and added, "We will continue to expand open recruitment opportunities in cooperation with each region."
Meanwhile, starting with the central Gyeonggi region in the second half of the year, CFS plans to hold additional large-scale job fairs in other regions, including Chungcheong and Gyeongsang.
