From the 22nd... Number of Runs Increased from 6 to 10 Per Day
New Stop for City Bus No. 84 to Be Established Nearby on the 17th
Yongin City in Gyeonggi Province announced on July 16 that starting from the 22nd, the 'Myongji University Intersection' stop will be added to the 8282 airport bus route bound for Incheon International Airport.
This measure is intended to improve airport bus accessibility for residents of Cheoin-gu. Until now, Cheoin-gu residents could only board this bus at the Yongin Bus Terminal.
Gyeongnam Passenger, the company operating the route, will increase both the number of vehicles and the frequency of service along with the addition of the new stop. The number of buses will be increased from two to four, and the number of daily runs will be expanded from six to ten.
To enhance public transportation access for visitors to the commercial district in Yeokbuk District, the city will also establish a new stop for city bus number 84 near the 'Myongji University Intersection' stop, starting operation from the 17th. Detailed route information for the stops can be found on the 'Gyeonggi Bus Information System.'
Lee Sangil, Mayor of Yongin, said, "We will continue our efforts to resolve transportation inconveniences for citizens in the future."
