This project targeted two locations: the area around the Mangusan valley and the vicinity of the Daehyang Lee Joongseop grave site. The sites were selected through on-site reviews and consultations by the Landslide Vulnerable Area Designation Committee, with a total budget of 588 million won allocated. Construction was carried out over approximately seven months, from November last year to May of this year.

The district installed forest disaster prevention facilities in these areas, including check dams, retaining walls, and vegetation, to preemptively block the collapse of steep slopes and soil runoff. This has established a safety foundation to protect residents' lives and property during periods of heavy rainfall.

Over the past five years, Jungnang-gu has steadily promoted landslide prevention projects at a total of 12 sites, including Yongmasan and Bonghwasan, investing a total of 2.176 billion won. The district is also operating a landslide response situation room, conducting patrols with the 'Landslide Site Prevention Team,' and carrying out maintenance and repairs of aging facilities.

Jungnang-gu Mayor Ryu Gyeonggi stated, "As the risk of forest disasters increases due to climate change, the importance of prevention projects is also growing," and added, "We will continue to create a safer Jungnang through systematic inspections and management."
