"Aged 25 Years in Oak Barrels"... HiteJinro Launches 'Ilpum Jinro 25 Years Aged'

Limited Sale of 8,000 Bottles Starting from the 17th

HiteJinro announced on the 16th that it will release a limited edition of 8,000 bottles of "Ilpum Jinro 25 Years Aged," made with 100% original spirit aged in oak barrels for 25 years.


Since launching "Ilpum Jinro 18 Years Aged" in 2018, HiteJinro has released a high-aged limited edition every year. Each year, these high-aged Ilpum Jinro editions have sold out quickly upon release. The quality of Ilpum Jinro has been recognized by winning the top prize in the distilled spirits category at the world-renowned liquor competition "Monde Selection" every year from its first release through 2025.

"Ilpum Jinro 25 Years Aged" is crafted by selecting only the most flavorful middle-layer spirit, aged for over 25 years. The position of the barrels is periodically changed and replaced, ensuring optimal temperature and humidity over a long period. The product features the signature smoky aroma of oak barrel aging, along with deep and smooth sweetness reminiscent of vanilla, cherry, and chocolate liqueur.


Stephen Woodcock, master distiller of the world-famous single malt whisky Glen Turner, praised Ilpum Jinro 25 Years Aged, saying, "The fresh oak aroma and the refreshing, sweet fruit flavors are in exquisite harmony." Christian Dahncke, master brewer of the German beer PAULANER, also gave high praise, stating, "The harmony of the natural oak scent and vanilla aroma is impressive."


Each of the 8,000 bottles of Ilpum Jinro 25 Years Aged is assigned a limited number and will be sold at select premium restaurants, establishments, and hotels befitting a top-tier premium oak soju. To give general consumers a chance to purchase, pre-orders will be accepted on the limited edition trading platform KREAM for 48 hours from 11:00 a.m. on the 23rd to 11:00 a.m. on the 25th. Afterwards, 100 winners will be selected by lottery, each given the opportunity to purchase one bottle.
