Three people, believed to be members of the same family, were found dead inside a car on Yeongjongdo Island in Incheon, prompting a police investigation. No suicide note was found at the scene, and police stated they plan to investigate further, as there are no indications of foul play.

According to Incheon Jungbu Police Station on July 15, a report was filed with emergency services at 4:50 p.m. stating that a family could not be reached. By tracking the missing family's mobile phone location, police found the vehicle parked in a vacant lot near a beach on Yeongjongdo Island at around 5:00 p.m., just ten minutes after the report. Inside the car, they discovered three people: a woman in her 40s, identified as Ms. A; a man in his 40s, identified as Mr. B; and a 7-year-old girl.

The person who filed the report is said to be Ms. A's father. No suicide note was found inside the vehicle. Police suspect the deceased were parents and their child, and are investigating the circumstances of their deaths.

A police official stated, "Further confirmation is needed regarding their residence and relationships, but we currently see no signs of criminal activity. After first questioning the bereaved family, we will decide whether to request autopsies from the National Forensic Service."
