This course is the second stage of a step-by-step training program designed by the city to foster practical AI talent that can be immediately deployed in industrial settings.

The second-stage 'AI Transformation Course' is structured as a hands-on program focused on business process automation. Through this training, participants will have the opportunity to directly experience and acquire various data analysis and AI application skills.

The course is open to employees who either reside in Pyeongtaek or work at companies based in Pyeongtaek, as well as entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs. The training will be held as evening classes at Pyeongtaek University from this month through September. To help working professionals and those preparing to start a business balance their schedules, the city plans to offer a hybrid program that combines both offline and online sessions.

Meanwhile, the city is currently operating a total of three stages in its AI professional training program, including the second-stage 'AI Transformation' course. The 'AI Literacy' course, which concluded on July 11, was a foundational program aimed at building basic competencies. The third-stage 'AI Master' course is designed to cultivate advanced project execution skills.

Participants can select and join the course that best matches their level and needs. The program is structured so that those who complete all stages will be equipped to lead AI projects as practical experts in real industrial settings.

Pyeongtaek Mayor Jung Jangsun stated, "AI is now a survival strategy, not a choice," and added, "We will foster practical AI professionals who can be immediately deployed in the industrial field to drive innovation among local companies."
