105 Golf Courses in Korea Announce "No Summer Closures for Us"

Only 29 Out of 134 Golf Courses to Close Temporarily This Summer
Flexible Closures Depending on Weather Conditions Such as Heat Waves and Heavy Rain

A total of 105 golf courses in South Korea will operate as usual this summer without any seasonal closures.


On July 15, the Korea Golf Course Business Association announced the summer closure and opening schedules for its member courses nationwide. According to the announcement, 105 golf courses will remain open without any closures, while only 29 courses will temporarily close. Out of a total of 210 member companies, 134 golf courses participated in this survey. Gonjiam CC will close for 11 days, Haevichi Seoul for 10 days, and Haesley Nine Bridges for 8 days, which are among the longest closure periods.

The Korea Golf Course Business Association stated, "Many golf courses have not yet finalized their closure schedules," and added, "Closures will be implemented flexibly depending on weather conditions such as heat waves and localized heavy rain." Golfers can check the closure and opening status of each course on the respective golf course's website.
