Kim Youngsung, CEO of KB Asset Management, Joins "Relay Campaign to Improve Awareness of Population Issues"

KB Asset Management announced on July 15 that CEO Kim Youngsung participated in the "Relay Campaign to Improve Awareness of Population Issues," which is co-hosted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Korea Human Resources Development Institute for Health and Welfare.

The campaign to improve awareness of population issues is a nationwide initiative aimed at raising awareness of the population decline and aging problems facing South Korea, while also establishing a foundation for solutions through public-private cooperation. Under the slogan "Let children be happy! Let youth nurture hope! Let the elderly find fulfillment in Korea!" the campaign has been conducted in a relay format since October of last year.

Kim Youngsung, CEO of KB Asset Management, participated in this campaign after being nominated by Seo Yooseok, Chairman of the Korea Financial Investment Association.

KB Asset Management is taking the lead in fostering a family-friendly corporate culture to enhance employees' loyalty to the company and support work-life balance. To prevent career interruptions due to childbirth and childcare, the company has extended parental leave to a maximum of two years and provides a childbirth incentive of 400,000 won per month for each child.

In addition, the company operates various welfare programs such as a flexible working hours system, "Family Day" to encourage leaving work on time, long-service leave, and self-development support. These efforts are designed to help employees achieve a balance between work and personal life. Recognizing these initiatives, KB Asset Management was certified as an "Excellent Family-Friendly Company" by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family at the end of last year.

Kim Youngsung, CEO of KB Asset Management, said, "I hope the relay campaign to improve awareness of population issues will serve as an opportunity to raise awareness about population decline and aging," adding, "KB Asset Management will also work to enhance the quality of life for our employees and build a healthy organizational culture by establishing a family-friendly corporate culture."
