The three major mobile carriers are simultaneously launching pre-orders for the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7. With the repeal of the Act on the Improvement of Distribution Structure of Mobile Communication Devices (commonly known as the "Device Distribution Act") taking effect on July 22, and the number portability market heating up due to SK Telecom’s penalty waiver, competition among carriers for the new product launch is expected to intensify.

The three carriers announced on July 15 that pre-orders for the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7 will be held from July 15 to 21. Pre-order customers can activate their devices starting July 22, and the official release date is July 25.

During this pre-order period, Samsung Electronics is offering a double storage benefit as standard. Customers who pre-order the Galaxy Z Fold7 or Z Flip7 in the 512GB variant can purchase it at the price of the 256GB model. The Galaxy Z Fold7 1TB storage model is available at a discounted price of 158,400 won.

SK Telecom, which is waiving penalties for customers who left until the previous day, is offering online video service (OTT) vouchers and mobile accessories to customers who purchase the Galaxy Z Fold7 or Z Flip7.

First, all customers who activate a Fold7 or Flip7 by August 31 will receive three months of free Tving service. A coupon for three months of the "Ad-Supported Standard" Tving plan will be provided, and this coupon can be used until September 30. On Tving, users can watch various content including professional baseball broadcasts, original dramas, and entertainment shows.

Customers who pre-order and activate at an official T World certified store will receive a Samsung official certified slim case. Customers who purchase the Galaxy Z Fold7 or Z Flip7 at the official online mall, T Direct Shop, with a "Direct 5G 69" or higher plan will receive a 150,000 won discount voucher for the Galaxy Watch8 series. Additionally, the first 500 customers who select a benefit plan for Netflix, Disney Plus, Tving, or YouTube Premium at pre-order will receive a 100,000 won voucher for Tida Stationery.

KT is introducing a new benefit called the "Advance Compensation Program" for customers who purchase the Galaxy Z Fold7 or Z Flip7. Under this program, customers can receive 50% of the launch price (the maximum guaranteed buyback amount for Safe Change used phones) upfront at the time of activation, based on the condition of returning and upgrading the device after 24 months, thereby reducing the burden of purchasing the device. Customers enrolled in the Advance Compensation Program can start their installment payments at half the launch price. KT also provides insurance that covers up to 600,000 won in case of loss or damage for customers enrolled in the program.

On the official online mall KT.com, customers who pre-order and sign up for a 5G plan can receive a 7% monthly discount on their plan for up to 24 months. When purchasing with a personal Samsung Card, customers can choose between a 5% cashback up to 100,000 won or 12 months of interest-free installments. Returning a used phone can bring up to an additional 250,000 won in compensation, and KT.com phone coupons can be applied for up to 100,000 won.

Pre-order customers can choose one popular gift, such as Galaxy Buds FE or a genuine battery pack. Both the referrer and the referred friend will receive a 10,000 won Naver Pay gift certificate for friend referrals, and number portability customers will receive an additional 30,000 won for the first time only.

LG Uplus is offering AI subscription service vouchers. Customers who complete pre-order and purchase of the Galaxy Z Fold7 or Z Flip7 can use two AI services, "Liner" and "Canva," through the "Udoc Pick AI" launching on July 22, for six months at no additional cost. Liner is an AI search service suitable for work or research, providing accurate answers and sources. Canva supports design and video work using various templates. This benefit is limited to the first 10,000 customers.

Additionally, customers who activate the Galaxy Z Fold7 or Z Flip7 can receive a full discount on the 36-month installment for the Galaxy Watch8 40mm. This benefit is available when subscribing to a plan of 105,000 won or more per month and selecting the Samsung Pack benefit, and may end early if stock runs out. An annual installment fee of 5.9% will be charged separately.

Customers who pre-order the Galaxy at the official online mall Uplus.com by July 21 will receive an exclusive Uplus.com coupon (up to 200,000 won). After pre-order, customers who pay with a Samsung Card can receive up to 24 months of interest-free installments and cashback benefits (up to 90,000 won). If returning their previous phone, customers will receive a Shinsegae gift certificate worth 150,000 won in addition to the existing trade-in value.
