The American business magazine Forbes recently published an article announcing the 'Best Washer-Dryer Set,' naming the LG WashTower as the 'Best Overall Product.' This marks the second consecutive year that it has received this recognition, following last year.
Forbes cited the LG WashTower's user convenience, washing performance, high energy efficiency, and low noise as its main advantages, also naming it the 'Most Recommended Product.' The magazine also highlighted the fact that the control panel is designed with user convenience in mind, making it easy for people of shorter stature to operate both the washer and dryer.
Reviewed.com, an American review media outlet, also selected the LG WashTower as the best hybrid washer. The outlet described it as "a beautifully designed product that delivers surprisingly excellent washing and drying performance." In addition, the American home appliance media Good Housekeeping praised the LG WashTower, stating, "LG never stops innovating," and noted that "(the LG WashTower) uses AI to detect fabrics and laundry loads, then customizes washing and drying cycles for more efficient fabric care."
The positive reviews continued in the UK. Trusted Reviews, a local review media outlet, described the LG WashTower as "a highly desirable product if you want a sleek hybrid washer-dryer tower." The review specifically mentioned features such as the automatic drainage function for the dryer and the convenient remote control capabilities based on the ThinQ app.
The LG WashTower is a product that LG Electronics first introduced in Korea in 2020 by combining a washer and dryer into a tower format. It is credited with opening up the hybrid washer-dryer market. The LG WashTower is designed to be about 9 cm lower than installing a drum washer and dryer of the same class on top of each other, offering excellent space efficiency. In addition, it is equipped with LG Electronics' core component technology and AI, featuring the 'AI DD Motor,' which allows AI to analyze the weight, humidity, and fabric type of the laundry and delicately adjust the washing and drying intensity to suit the load.
This year, the AI functions have been further enhanced. The product now includes 'AI Time Sensing,' which detects the amount of laundry and informs users of the estimated completion time for each cycle within three seconds, and 'AI Time Guidance,' which learns usage patterns and provides increasingly accurate time estimates the more it is used. It also automatically creates 'AI My Course' by learning the user's frequently used washing and drying cycles and options.
