Shilla University (President Heo Namsik) announced on the 14th that it recently held the completion ceremony for the Batch7 training program, which was jointly operated with UMN (Universitas Multimedia Nusantara) in Indonesia.
This training was part of the "Indonesia Tangerang 4th Industrial Revolution Technology Professional Training Project" and was carried out under the KOICA (Korea International Cooperation Agency) Civil Society Cooperation Program from April to July. The program was divided into two tracks: the Big Data-Smart City track and the Employment-Oriented Smart Factory track.
The curriculum was tailored to meet the demands of Indonesian industries, focusing on practical training for advanced talent in fields such as electric vehicle batteries, smart manufacturing, cloud computing, and big data analysis. A total of 60 participants completed the program. Among them, 13 participants?including 9 from the Smart Factory track and 4 from the Big Data-Smart City track?secured employment at local and international companies immediately upon completion.
Since 2022, Shilla University and UMN have been jointly operating education programs based on smart factories, cloud, and big data, and have demonstrated the excellence of these programs through tangible employment outcomes.
Kim Seongsu, Director of the International Smart Technology Cooperation Center at Shilla University, said, "I feel a great sense of fulfillment seeing our graduates immediately employed by local companies after completing the program," adding, "We will continue to actively contribute to the development of Indonesia's ICT industry and the cultivation of talent."
