On the 15th, Gwangju and Jeonnam are expected to be mostly cloudy with rain.
According to the Gwangju Regional Meteorological Administration, due to the influence of a low-pressure system located over the East Sea on this day, precipitation of 10 to 50 millimeters is expected in Gwangju and Jeonnam. The morning low will range from 20 to 23 degrees Celsius, and the daytime high is forecast to be between 27 and 30 degrees Celsius.
For the time being, temperatures will remain somewhat low while the rain continues. However, after the rain stops, humidity is expected to rise, causing the perceived temperature to reach around 31 degrees Celsius and making the weather feel hot again.
On this day, waves in the coastal waters off the West and South Seas are expected to reach around 1.5 meters, and the concentration of ultrafine dust is forecast to remain at a 'good' level.
The Korea Meteorological Administration warned that the risk of heat-related illnesses is high, urging people to refrain from outdoor activities and outings, and to pay special attention to food management to prevent food poisoning.
