The Chungnam Provincial Council's "Field-Oriented Reserved Integration Research Group" held its 3rd meeting and interim report session for the research project on the 14th at the Cheonan Office of Education Situation Room. During the session, the group reviewed the progress of policy research so far and explored ways to enhance the effectiveness of the Chungnam-style reserved integration policy.

More than 20 people attended the meeting, including Representative Shin Hancheol (Cheonan 2, People Power Party), Representative Yoo Seongjae (Cheonan 5, People Power Party), Representative Lee Hyunsook (Proportional, People Power Party), public officials, and members of the research team conducting the project.

The report session began with a presentation by Dr. Kim Kyunghee, the lead researcher, followed by a Q&A session and an open discussion.

The council members shared survey questions designed to reflect the actual needs of the education field in the policy, aiming to ensure that reserved integration leads to tangible policy outcomes. They also discussed survey methods and future directions for utilizing the results.

Representative Shin Hancheol emphasized, "Today's meeting is a very important occasion for field-oriented reserved integration," and urged, "Please do your utmost to ensure that the research does not remain theoretical but instead leads to outcomes that can be implemented in actual education and care settings."

The Field-Oriented Reserved Integration Research Group plans to incorporate the feedback raised at the interim report session into the final research results. The group will also prepare field-oriented reserved integration policy measures aimed at closing educational gaps and providing high-quality education and care services.
