According to the county on July 14, this fair is being organized to promote Muju's tourist attractions, which are full of things to see and enjoy, to over 300 domestic and international tourism industry professionals, including local governments from across Korea, overseas tourism boards, and travel agencies.

During the exhibition, Muju County will operate an exclusive promotional booth, focusing on showcasing the 29th Muju Firefly Festival, Deogyusan National Park, Taekwondowon-Taekwon Adventure, and Bandi Land. In addition, the county plans to hold on-site consultations with buyers to attract tourists and create opportunities for collaboration.

The county will also provide vivid images and video content featuring the Muju Firefly Festival and seasonal travel courses, and will host an event where visitors can receive Muju specialty products by verifying their participation on social media.

Furthermore, through a prize draw, the county will offer the following to visitors: one voucher for a 2-day-1-night eco-exploration tour, two vouchers for accommodation at Nabom Resort, thirty vouchers for the Firefly Mystery Exploration, and one hundred tickets for admission to the Bandi Nuri Center, focusing on engaging with visitors.

Lee Hyunwoo, Director of Tourism Promotion, said, "We hope to use this fair as an opportunity to promote the brand value of Muju, the special city of nature represented by live fireflies and forests, as well as the vibrant attractions of Muju, including taekwondo, water activities, and skiing, to the entire nation. Above all, as the 29th Muju Firefly Festival is just around the corner, we are looking forward to attracting more tourists."

The 29th Muju Firefly Festival (an honorary cultural tourism festival of Korea) will be held for nine days from September 6 to 14 this year throughout Muju County. Under the theme of "Realizing the Value of Coexistence between Nature and Humanity," the festival will feature a variety of attractions and activities, including the Firefly Mystery Exploration.

Meanwhile, the 10th Korea International Tourism Fair is hosted by the Korea International Tourism Fair Organizing Committee. Admission is free with pre-registration, and from July 18 to 21, visitors can experience and exchange global tourism trends and cultures through domestic and international tourism promotion halls, travel industry halls, cultural experience booths, and tourism industry seminars and forums.
