The Chungnam Provincial Office of Education announced on the 14th that it is holding the "Emotional Growth Traveling Concert" for 55 elementary, middle, and high schools in the province.

This concert was organized to provide students, who have limited opportunities to experience world-class classical music, with the chance to enjoy cultural arts, and to foster their artistic sensitivity and cultural literacy.

This program will be held at schools throughout the province until the 17th, in collaboration with the National Chamber Orchestra of Uzbekistan, and will include 22 performances.

The National Chamber Orchestra of Uzbekistan is a leading local chamber orchestra composed of young musicians who have won awards at international competitions.

During the performance, the orchestra will present familiar classical masterpieces such as Mozart's "Eine kleine Nachtmusik," Pachelbel's "Canon," and "Winter" and "Summer" from Vivaldi's "The Four Seasons."

In particular, the orchestra will also perform Korean art songs such as "Eolgul" and "Baetnorae," which are well-suited to Korean sentiment, providing students with an opportunity to feel even more connected to classical music.

In selecting schools to host the concert, the provincial office prioritized rural areas and towns with relatively limited cultural and artistic experiences, as well as large urban schools and schools with many multicultural and migrant-background students, focusing on narrowing the educational gap.

Kim Hongje, Director of Secondary Education at the Chungnam Provincial Office of Education, stated, "Thanks to last year's enthusiastic response, we are once again holding the 'Emotional Growth Traveling Concert' this year. I hope that through the beautiful melodies of classical music, students will cultivate rich artistic sensibility and discover their dreams and potential."

Meanwhile, the provincial office plans to continue expanding various art experience activities in which students can take the lead, nurturing their cultural literacy and actively supporting their growth into creative and convergent talents.
