Gwangju Dong-gu to Hold 'Smart Healthy City' Forum on the 16th 2025 Smart Healthy City Forum Poster.

Gwangju Dong-gu announced on the 14th that it will hold a forum for the promotion of a smart healthy city on the 16th at the Grand Lecture Hall of the Culture Information Center in the National Asia Culture Center.


This forum has been organized to establish the direction for promoting a smart healthy city in Dong-gu and to gather expert opinions for the creation of a sustainable smart healthy city. The event is expected to be attended by approximately 170 people, including Dong-gu Mayor Lim Taek, Dong-gu council members, staff from relevant departments, experts in health, welfare, and medical fields, as well as local residents.


The forum will feature presentations on the following topics: an introduction to the concept of a smart healthy city; health determinants related to smart healthy cities; and the health-related systems and data collection methods that exist within the city. There will also be discussions to seek expert advice on the professional perspectives needed to build a smart healthy city.


Lim Taek, Mayor of Dong-gu, stated, "Through this forum, we will establish a health management system based on smart technology to create a healthy city that residents can truly experience," and added, "Together with local experts, we will strive to develop a smart healthy city that strengthens both the environment and individual capabilities."
