Raonsecure Director Jaeyoung Lee Receives Minister of the Interior and Safety Commendation for '2025 Digital Government Innovation Merit'

Raonsecure, an IT security and authentication platform company led by co-CEOs Soonhyung Lee and Jeonga Lee, announced on July 14 that Director Jaeyoung Lee has received the Minister of the Interior and Safety Commendation for the '2025 Digital Government Innovation Merit.'

Director Jaeyoung Lee was recognized for his contributions to the stable introduction and expansion of digital ID services by participating in the establishment of South Korea's national mobile ID projects, including the mobile resident registration card, mobile driver's license, and national veterans registration card.

Jaeyoung Lee has overseen the on-site construction of the national mobile ID infrastructure based on Raonsecure's proprietary blockchain DID technology. He played a key role throughout the entire process, from system design reflecting the requirements of each institution to the architecture that considers both security and user convenience.

In particular, since March of this year, he has successfully led the launch of the mobile resident registration card?issued to all citizens?the mobile driver's license, which is the first mobile ID in Korea with legal validity, and the mobile government employee ID, which marked the starting point of digital government. He also participated in open service projects that allow national IDs to be issued and used via private sector apps.

Additionally, through various projects such as implementing the first blockchain-based user authentication service for a public institution at the Military Manpower Administration and building the Gyeongsangnam-do provincial resident card issuance system, he has significantly improved public convenience and the efficiency of local administration.
