Sold at Major Australian Supermarket Chains Woolworths and IGA
Locally Produced to Meet Consumer Preferences
On July 14, CJ CheilJedang announced that it has launched 'Bibigo Korean Style Chicken' at Woolworths, the largest supermarket chain in Australia. These products are produced locally, and this marks the first time that Bibigo chicken is being sold in Australia.

The new products include two types: 'Bibigo Korean Style Chicken Yangnyeom Flavor' and 'Soy Honey Flavor.' These products can be easily prepared at home using an oven or air fryer. The Korean-style seasoned chicken and soy sauce chicken flavor sauces are packaged separately from the chicken, allowing consumers to adjust the amount of sauce according to their preference. Following Woolworths, another major local supermarket chain, IGA, will also begin selling these products starting next month.
'Bibigo Korean Style Chicken' has established a local production system to ensure the supply of fresh ingredients preferred by local consumers. Through this system, the company plans to continue introducing products that reflect future consumer trends. CJ CheilJedang is also considering local production of 'Bibigo Vegetable Dumplings,' a popular product in Australia.
CJ CheilJedang first introduced locally produced 'Bibigo Wang Gyoja' in 2023. Since then, the company has expanded its production lineup to include steamed dumplings and homestyle dumplings. In March of last year, it also began local production of 'Bibigo Sliced Napa Cabbage Kimchi,' which has received positive feedback from consumers.
Cha Yoojin, head of CJ CheilJedang's Oceania subsidiary, stated, "We are pleased to introduce the popular 'Bibigo K-Chicken' to Australian consumers," adding, "We will continue to promote Korean food culture through a variety of products in the future."
