Recruiting a Total of 7,055 Participants

On July 14, the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency announced that it has begun accepting integrated applications for customized education and welfare services for subscribers of the Performance-Based Compensation Mutual Aid program.

The Performance-Based Compensation Mutual Aid program supports the long-term retention and asset formation of key personnel in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through two initiatives: the Naeil Chaeum Mutual Aid and the Employee Preferential Savings Mutual Aid. The education and welfare services, targeting approximately 110,000 subscribers, have supported a cumulative total of 81,615 companies and 169,384 employees since 2017, aiming to enhance the capabilities and welfare of SME employees.

This application process has improved user convenience by restructuring the previously separate application procedures for education and welfare programs into a single integrated system. Subscribers can select and apply for programs according to their needs, with a total of 7,055 participants to be recruited.

The education sector consists of four programs: English camps, distance reading education, online education, and education vouchers. First, native-speaker English camps for elementary school children will be held simultaneously from August 5 to 7 at four training centers nationwide: SMEs and Startups (Ansan), Busan-Gyeongnam (Jinhae), Honam (Gwangju), and Daegu-Gyeongbuk (Gyeongsan).

Additionally, the distance reading education program allows participants to access digital reading content such as 'Millie's Library' or 'Wela' for three months. Through the SME and Startup Training Institute's e-learning platform (SSUP), more than 1,000 job and qualification-related online courses are also available free of charge. The education voucher program provides support for external professional training worth 100,000 won per person.

The welfare sector includes summer vacation coupon support, free rural village experience and recreation programs, and discounts at online welfare malls. In partnership with the Korea Tourism Organization, vacation coupons worth up to 200,000 won are provided, which can be used at major accommodations and travel destinations nationwide.

Applications can be submitted through the Naeil Chaeum Mutual Aid website. Detailed information can be found in the recruitment announcement posted on the Naeil Chaeum Mutual Aid website.
