Last year, Jang Yubin dominated major categories such as prize money and points on the Korea Professional Golf Association (KPGA) Tour, and this year he transferred to LIV Golf. However, out of 10 tournaments, he finished within the top 30 only twice: tied for 23rd in Adelaide, Australia in February, and tied for 29th in Miami, United States in April.
Taylor Gooch (United States) reduced his score by one stroke to secure a one-stroke victory (8-under-par 205 strokes). This marked his first win of the year and the fourth of his career. The winner's prize was $4 million (approximately 5.5 billion won). Jon Rahm (Spain) surged with a 6-under-par 65 to claim second place (7-under-par 206 strokes). Dustin Johnson (United States) finished tied for 7th (2-under-par 211 strokes), Danny Lee (New Zealand) tied for 19th (1-over-par 214 strokes), Kevin Na tied for 41st (5-over-par 219 strokes), and Anthony Kim (United States) finished 52nd (13-over-par 226 strokes).
