Gwangju Urban Corporation Delivers Warmth to the Community with Summer Kimchi

Gwangju Urban Corporation (President Kim Seungnam) announced on July 13 that it held a "Summer Kimchi Making and Sharing" event to provide warmth and practical support to local social welfare facilities and vulnerable groups during the hot summer season.

This event was hosted by Gwangju Urban Corporation and organized in collaboration with social contribution governance organizations, including Gwangju Social Service Center, Gwangju-Jeonnam Branch of the Korean Red Cross, and Gwangju Chapter of the Korea Specialty Contractors Association.

The participating organizations cooperated in various ways, such as volunteering, providing supplies, and delivering goods. They made summer kimchi together with residents of rehabilitation facilities for the homeless and delivered it to recipients, taking the lead in fostering a caring local community.

Kim Seungnam, President of Gwangju Urban Corporation, stated, "This 'Summer Kimchi Making and Sharing' event goes beyond a one-time act of sharing and holds important significance in realizing sustainable social contribution activities together with the local community." He added, "We will continue to promote various activities that realize social value and foster mutual growth with the local community."
