In particular, as a low-pressure system gradually moves northward from the southern seas near Jeju Island and cold air in the upper atmosphere descends from the northwest, atmospheric instability is expected. This will bring strong rain accompanied by gusty winds, thunder, and lightning in some areas.

Expected precipitation until the 15th is as follows: 50 to 100 mm (with some areas seeing more than 150 mm) in Busan, Ulsan, the southern coast of Gyeongsangnam-do, the eastern inland of Gyeongsangnam-do, and the east coast of Gyeongsangbuk-do; 30 to 80 mm (with some areas such as the southern coast of Jeollanam-do, near Jirisan, and Jeju Island's mountainous, mid-mountain, eastern, and southern regions seeing more than 100 mm) in Gwangju, Jeollanam-do, Jeollabuk-do, inland Gyeongsangnam-do (excluding the eastern inland), Daegu, inland Gyeongsangbuk-do, Ulleungdo, Dokdo, and Jeju Island.

Additionally, 20 to 60 mm of rain is forecast for southern Gyeonggi, Yeongdong in Gangwon, southwestern Yeongseo in Gangwon, Daejeon, Sejong, Chungcheongnam-do, and Chungcheongbuk-do (with more than 80 mm possible in Yeongdong, Gangwon). Seoul, Incheon, northern Gyeonggi, and central and northern Yeongseo in Gangwon are expected to receive 10 to 40 mm, while the five West Sea islands may see 5 to 20 mm of rain. Jeju Island may experience heavy rain exceeding 30 mm per hour from morning to evening, while Gwangju, Jeollanam-do, and Jeollabuk-do may see such intense rainfall from the afternoon until the early morning of the 14th.

Daytime high temperatures are forecast to range from 28 to 35 degrees Celsius. Fine dust concentrations nationwide are expected to remain at 'good' to 'normal' levels. Most seas will see gusty winds and thunder and lightning in some areas. Wave heights are expected to be 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the East Sea and South Sea coastal waters, and 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the West Sea coastal waters.
