Uiseong County Completes Environmental Improvements at "Child Happiness Dream Center" and "Birth Integrated Support Center" Uiseong County, Gyeongbuk, secures child safety and comfort at the Child Happiness Dream Center Birth Integrated Support Center through the introduction of eco-friendly materials and specialized hygiene management.

This round of improvements went beyond simple facility maintenance, focusing on building a high-quality childcare environment that supports children's emotional development and healthy growth.

According to Uiseong County on July 11, the "Baby Cafe Infant Playroom" at the Birth Integrated Support Center in Angye-myeon, which has been in operation since 2019, underwent a complete renovation. All old floor mats and wall cushions were removed and replaced with premium, eco-friendly, flame-retardant mats.

In particular, design mats featuring dinosaur characters were newly installed on the walls, transforming the space into an area that stimulates children's interest and fosters their imagination.

The county explained that this environmental upgrade was not just a routine refurbishment of play areas, but a redesign that took into account children's psychological stability and the development of creativity.

A parent who has used the facility shared, "The atmosphere is now much cleaner and more vibrant than before, and my child is more engaged in play. I am grateful for the county's thoughtful attention."

Additionally, at the "Child Happiness Dream Center" located within the public health center and operating since 2020, a professional children's facility hygiene management company was brought in to conduct intensive cleaning and sterilization of all program rooms and infant play areas.

This hygiene management focused on eliminating bacteria and harmful germs that could threaten children's health, and is being recognized for significantly raising the level of safety and cleanliness.

Kim Jusu, the governor of Uiseong County, stated, "Spaces where children stay are not just places for play, but are important foundations for emotional development and social skills. We will continue to conduct regular inspections and ongoing facility improvements to create an environment where children can play freely and grow up healthy."

Uiseong County plans to further strengthen its foundation as a child-friendly city by systematically managing and increasing investment in local child welfare and childcare facilities in the future.
