The musical Aladdin is based on the Disney animated film of the same name. It premiered in Seattle, United States, in 2011 and made its Broadway debut in 2014.

Since its premiere, Aladdin has been performed in 11 productions across four continents, attracting approximately 21 million audience members worldwide. The musical garnered significant attention during its Seoul run, thanks to its cross-generational storytelling and the iconic numbers composed by master musician Alan Menken.
