This agreement is part of the "IBS-ESG Initiative," an inclusive business program by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA). HD Hyundai Construction Equipment donated a 22-ton excavator for local hands-on training. Over the next five years, the company plans to continue various collaborative activities with CCT1, including: providing smart construction equipment and materials, developing training curricula, supporting participation in the WorldSkills Competition, assisting in organizing job fairs, and offering education for underprivileged groups. The company stated that these efforts are expected to foster the development of more than 500 talents, including students, faculty, and current technicians.

With this agreement, HD Hyundai Construction Equipment aims to build an eco-friendly construction equipment education infrastructure and contribute to strengthening the sustainability of Vietnam's construction equipment industry by supplying equipment that meets emission regulations. The company also plans to expand its business and enhance brand competitiveness by collaborating with local education and industrial sectors.

According to KOTRA, the Vietnamese construction equipment market is projected to grow at an average annual rate of 4.35% due to urbanization policies, reaching a scale of 7,900 units by 2029. HD Hyundai Construction Equipment plans to expand this cooperation model to other developing countries such as India, Brazil, and Indonesia, thereby broadening its global business foundation.
