Eastar Jet announced on July 11 that it has begun operating charter flights on the Busan-Ordos route. This route will operate twice a week (Mondays and Fridays) from today until September 15.
Ordos is a unique travel destination located in Inner Mongolia, China. Visitors can enjoy vast grasslands, expansive deserts, and beautiful, distinctive natural scenery reminiscent of a star-filled night sky. Tickets can be purchased through travel agencies.
Eastar Jet is currently operating seven routes departing from Busan. Starting July 26, the airline will launch a new Busan-Phu Quoc route. The Busan-Ordos charter route was allocated to Eastar Jet in March.
An Eastar Jet representative stated, "Although Ordos is a relatively unfamiliar destination, it offers abundant tourism potential with its vast natural landscapes and well-developed urban infrastructure. In response to requests from travel agencies and customers in the Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam regions, we have decided to operate charter flights on this route for three months during the peak season."
