This support is part of the 'Social Contribution Impact Week' initiative led by Hanul Nuclear Power Plant to commemorate Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power's successful nuclear power plant bid in the Czech Republic. The funding was raised through the Dandelion Seed Fund, which consists of donations from employees.

The support funds will be distributed as follows: 9 million won to 12 local social welfare facilities, and a total of 15 million won to 300 energy-vulnerable households, with each household receiving 50,000 won.

Lee Seyong, head of Hanul Nuclear Power Plant, stated, "I believe it is meaningful that the remarkable achievement of winning the Czech nuclear power plant bid is accompanied by sharing with the local community. I hope that this support for cooling expenses will provide practical help during the unprecedented heatwave, and we will continue to share warmth with our community in the future."
