Hyosung Supports Employment Activation Program for Women with Career Experience

Support for Jongno Women's Human Resources Development Center Employment Program
Caregiver and Senior Care Specialist Training Courses Offered

Hyosung announced on the 10th that it had delivered a grant of 70 million won to the Korea Women's Association at the Jongno Women's Human Resources Development Center in Jongno-gu, Seoul, to support the employment of women with career experience.

The sponsorship from Hyosung will be used to operate the caregiver training course and the senior care specialist training program. A total of about 40 women with career experience will participate and receive support that connects education to employment.

This year's training program focused on addressing the shortage of care workers in the local community due to rapid aging. Participants without a caregiver certificate will receive support for the caregiver training course, while those with a social worker certificate will receive practical, job-oriented training in the senior care specialist program.

Since 2013, Hyosung has been sponsoring employment activation programs to help middle-aged women who face difficulties finding jobs due to career breaks or age restrictions achieve economic independence.

In addition, Hyosung is engaged in sustainable social contribution activities that support the independence of beneficiaries, such as providing rehabilitation treatment expenses for children with disabilities through the Purme Foundation and supporting resident artists at the Seoul Disability Arts Creation Center.
