Acting Mayor Yoo Junggeun to Preside Over Departmental Work Report Meetings from July 10 to 14
Yeongju City in North Gyeongsang Province will hold departmental major work report meetings from July 10 to July 14, 2025.
This series of meetings, presided over by Acting Mayor Yoo Junggeun, has been organized as a practical forum to review the progress of each department’s key ongoing projects and to discuss directions for identifying new initiatives in the future.

The reporting schedule is as follows: on the 10th, the Economic and Industrial Bureau, Culture and Welfare Bureau, and affiliated offices; on the 11th, the Urban Construction Bureau, Environmental Office, and Public Health Center; and on the 14th, the Agricultural Technology Center, Administration and Safety Bureau, Local Era Policy Office, Business Support Office, Public Relations and IT Office, and Planning and Budget Office. All departments will participate.
Acting Mayor Yoo Junggeun has urged, “While existing projects should proceed without delay, I ask that you actively discover new projects that reflect local characteristics and the needs of our citizens.” He is focusing on quickly grasping the overall city administration and establishing a stable operational foundation.
On July 12, Acting Mayor Yoo is scheduled to visit Yeongjuho Lake and Museom Village to inspect the status of major tourism resources and related projects. This field visit is part of an on-site administrative approach aimed at implementing effective policies and exploring directions for regional development.
The city plans to use these work report meetings as an opportunity to enhance the execution of major projects and to further strengthen practical administration that directly addresses on-site issues.
