This event was organized to strengthen respect for model military service families who have fulfilled their military duties across generations and to foster a social atmosphere that takes pride in military service. A model military service family is defined as a family in which three generations (from the first to the third generation of direct male descendants) have all either been conscripted or volunteered to serve as officers, non-commissioned officers, or enlisted soldiers and have completed active duty or are currently serving. In addition, individuals who participated in the Korean War as student soldiers or other non-military personnel, those who served as members of the Korean Liberation Army under the Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea, and women who have completed military service also qualify as model military service families.

Under this agreement, model military service families and their relatives nationwide, voluntary military service personnel, and social service agents currently serving can receive various medical benefits at Boramae Jaseng Korean Medicine Hospital by presenting documentation proving their status as model military service families.

Park Wonsang, director of Boramae Jaseng Korean Medicine Hospital, stated, "I express my deep respect and gratitude to the members of model military service families and their relatives who have faithfully fulfilled their military duties for the nation," and added, "Going forward, Boramae Jaseng Korean Medicine Hospital will continue to take the lead in honoring model military service families and national merit recipients in cooperation with the Seoul Regional Military Manpower Administration."

Meanwhile, Jaseng Korean Medicine Hospital has been contributing to the promotion of a culture of honoring veterans every year, in line with the management philosophy of 'compassion for the needy,' which was emphasized by Shin Gwangryeol, the father of the hospital's founder Dr. Shin Junsik and an independence activist, as well as the spirit of the independence movement.

The hospital has signed a 'Business Agreement for Medical and Living Support for National Merit Recipients' with the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs, and each year provides bedding sets and daily necessities worth 100 million won to 800 descendants of independence activists and vulnerable national merit recipients. In addition, the hospital is carrying out medical, living, and housing support projects for patriots, Korean War veterans, independence activists, and their bereaved families. Last year, it was awarded the '25th Veterans Culture Award' hosted by the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs.
